Antonov An-148-100B ADB Antonov “Demonstrator” UR-NTA — 1:200 Scale Model

Collectible model of the first flying prototype of the Antonov An-148-100B regional passenger aircraft in the demonstrator livery of the Antonov Design Bureau.

The model represents aircraft UR-NTA, construction number 01-01. This aircraft was the first Antonov An-148 to take to the air, participated in the certification test programme and was used to demonstrate the new Ukrainian regional jet.

The distinctive white-and-blue ADB Antonov livery, registration UR-NTA and historic status as the first flying An-148 make this model an important addition to any collection of Antonov aircraft or Ukrainian civil aviation.

Produced in Ukraine by KUM in 1:200 scale, the model is made of high-quality cast plastic. The markings, registration and decorative elements are applied using pad-printing technology. It is supplied fully assembled and ready for display.

HISTORY OF THE AIRCRAFT

The Antonov An-148 is a Ukrainian twin-engine regional passenger jet developed by the Antonov Design Bureau.

The aircraft was designed for passenger, mixed passenger-and-cargo and cargo operations on regional and short-haul routes. Its high-wing configuration and elevated engine position reduce the risk of foreign object damage and allow the aircraft to operate from regional airports with less-developed runway infrastructure.

The first flying An-148 received the registration UR-NTA and construction number 01-01. The aircraft was officially rolled out from the final assembly shop on 15 October 2004.

UR-NTA made its maiden flight on 17 December 2004.

Thanks to its unique status, UR-NTA remains one of the most important aircraft in the history of modern Ukrainian aircraft manufacturing.
